Redesigning Hybrid

Time to rethink everything.

Want to get your hands dirty in what true hybrid means? We don’t mean hybrid in the sense of a virtual event and a completely separate in-person event. We mean hybrid in all the experimental, crazy ideas that we all are itching to test. Can we stream a keynote and show a wall with hundreds of the digital audiences' faces to the in-person audience? Can we also display a a global chat going without being distracted? How do we live stream a remote speaker to an in-person audience? Will a panel truly work if some panelists are in-person and some remote? Will small group brainstorms work with audiences in multiple locations?

We want to know too. And that’s why UNTETHERED exists—to connect our community over experience. To test the bounds of what’s possible and experience for ourselves what it feels like to be an attendee in these formats. Then, together, we will use what we learn to change our industry.
